Your Impact

As Associate, Business Development at Wellfound Foods, you’ll join our sales team to grow the top of our funnel and move clients through our process to close. Specifically, you will be responsible for introducing Wellfound to prospective clients and building a pipeline of new business to meet our growth goals. The Associate of Business Development will report directly to the Senior Director of Business Development. 

We’re looking for an Associate, Business Development who is excited to proactively reach out to prospects, learn their challenges and help solve them with our unique solution.

This is a remote position. 

What You’ll Do

  • Research accounts, identify key players and decision makers, and execute on outbound lead generation strategies (cold emails, cold calls, networking) to build our sales pipeline.
  • Qualify leads and schedule prospect appointments through outbound calls and emails.
  • Develop relationships through phone and email communication with new and existing clients
  • Represent Wellfound - learn all aspects of our wholesale and SmartMarket solutions and connect them with prospective clients’ challenges to help them meet their goals.
  • Provide administrative assistance and support to the sales team by creating, organizing, and tracking leads in our CRM.

. Your Experience

  • 1+ years of sales experience with specific focus on lead generation and cold calling, preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal facilitation skills as well as presentation skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google office products 
  • Laser sharp attention to detail
  • Creative and flexible team member
  • Problem solver, who can maximize resources
